Don’t Let Your Profile Make You Look Stupid

In the bygone days of when online dating was first rolled out to the center stage, my first online dating profile did a good job of making myself look like a jackass. I must congratulate the guys who have online dating profiles which faithfully make them look like real idiots. Even women’s profiles are the same. But as women are what we are after we can ignore the faults of their profiles.

You don’t have to watch Bill Cosby show to laugh, go online and look at some Internet dating profile of some poor bloke and they are much funnier. The first time that I had the logic of looking at other ‘guy’ profiles, I was too ashamed of being in their league. I just wanted to see what I was up against to find out I am one of them.

This was some time back. And today? I must say that guy’s profiles still do look the same and still they make a good job of making them look like idiots. I am not sure ‘what’ the guys are trying to prove. It cant be a person that they are trying to impress. The guys write so much of garbage about themselves thinking that he can “sweep the girls off their feet”. This s a disaster and a major turn off for girls.

Your profile is the résumé which gets you an interview with a woman. When you are hunting for jobs you seriously care about how your résumé projects your image to the company. So why not give the same consideration and thought when you are building your profile. Just make your profile pique interest of women and they will get back to you wanting to know more.

Now when I say this don’t try writing the biography on your profile. But it is better than the common egocentric profiles, bragging and telling how great you are. Remember there is a time for everything. Make sure your profile stand out whatever you do. But not like a jackass, like of a cool guy which women will adore.
